How absurd to claim (and both Twitter and Facebook have form on this) that because of the volume of traffic going through their sites they can do nothing! Would this defence stand up in a court? I suspect not! Social media sites need to lift their game. If they cannot or do not then the police need to step in. Freedom of speech has never, and should never, extend to threats of violence. | |
