Perhaps I misunderstood that, but that is what I remember. Now they are going to be punished for doing what the government, who also are their regulators, urged? Seems like poor policy to punish BoA, no matter how much Countrywide deserves it. Couldn’t the government just go after the individuals who were in Countrywide at the time who made these terrible decisions? What am I missing here?
